Croc City Crocodile Farm - Nietgedacht, Fourways
Croc City Crocodile Farm provides the opportunity to observe one of the world's most spectacular predators at close range. On display we have hatchlings to large adults of over four meters in length. The tea garden offers delicious refreshments and in the curio shop you will find a wide variety of souvenirs, as well as vacuum packed crocodile meat. Informative guided tours are given on request.

Located on Durban’s Marine Parade (next door to Minitown) Fitzsimons Snake Park is home to about 250 of these fascinating reptiles. Here you will be able to have a close encounter with, among others, the world’s longest snake, the Reticulated Python - which reaches about eleven metres in adulthood; some of the most venomous snakes on the planet (Boomslang, Puff Adder and Black Mamba) and some of the rarest snakes around ( Long Nose Tree Snake, Snorkel Viper and Madagascan Tree Boa.)

Palmiet Nature Reserve
The Reptiles snakes and lizards, are as much a part of the animal life of the Palmiet Nature Reserve as are the mammals and birds. The snakes may have taken on the role of the main predators, effecting a control on small mammals, birds, toads and frogs, where other more usual predators do not occur.

here is a display of various snakes, birds, tortoises, and farm animals to keep children entertained for hours. The Crocodile Feeding takes place every Saturday and Sunday at 14h00 and 11h30 respectively.
