Hi and welcome to South African Snakes. My name is Tony Smith. At one time I kept 197 venomous snakes including Cape Cobras, Boomslangs, Rinkhals and many types of adders such as Puff Adder and Gaboon Vipers. I have travelled and worked all over Africa, Uganda, Mozambique, Botswana and Zambia and have observed & photographed many snakes in their natural environment

We only offer healthy Beardies which were captive bred in South Africa. We breed our own stock. Each animal we sell comes with a birth certificate (also containing other applicable information) & an introduction pamphlet for the species. Our breeding stock is selected to prevent any possibility of inbreeding.

Information about Boa Constrictors, Ball Pythons, Burmese Pythons and Reticulated Pythons Locally bred by Gavin Vetten and other South African breeders.

Reptile World is a bunch of us that breed and sell reptiles to the public. We have an outlet in Krugersdorp where we have animals for sale. While we have a shop, we are also wholesalers of reptiles and reptile products to other shops as well.

We started producing some really stunning morphs, in fact we were the 1st in South Africa to breed corns such as the Ghost Stripe, Ghost Motley, Crimson, Butter and the Silver Stripe vanishing pattern corn snake.
