Our hospital has the capability of serving all sorts of animals from the smallest fish to the largest reptiles. Our warm exotic ICU features avian incubators, reptilian incubators (aquatic and not), fish and amphibian ICU tanks, avian nebulizer unit, and inline oxygen for all cages. Outside the warm room, we have comfortable cages for all the soft fuzzy and not so fuzzy mammals and marsupials.

More and more people are acquiring exotics animals such as iguanas, lizards, snakes and turtles. It is important to realize that these pets are not necessarily less expensive to maintain, nor do they always require less time and effort than dogs and cats. As with any animal, what they eat, how they interact with their environment, their socialization, and exposure to infectious diseases all play an important role in their overall health.

Reptile vets listed by State. We are a non-profit international organization of veterinarians and herpetologists founded in 1991. Our goal is to improve reptilian and amphibian veterinary care and husbandry through education, exchange of ideas and research. The Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians (ARAV) promotes conservation and humane treatment of all reptilian and amphibian species through education, captive breeding and reptilian and amphibian habitat preservation.
