If you have an interest in Australian tarantulas, then the ATA has something to offer you!
Whether you are a novice and want to know how to feed and house your new pet, or you are more advanced and want to know the more serious stuff like the characteristics of the lyra on the prolateral face of the maxillae, or anything inbetween..

Breeders

Tropical Tarantulas

We encourage responsible collecting and the sale of captive bred spiders. Tropical Tarantulas is in its second successful season of breeding with over 2000 spiderlings bred in 2006. We also rescue Tarantulas from peoples homes and have saved hundreds of Tarantulas from suffering the fate of insect spray or the bottom of someones shoe. Many of these rescued spiders enter the breeding program here or are traded with other breeders for other species. We have also developed several first aid techniques for sick or injured Tarantulas.
