Purchase and sale of reptiles
Main Source of stock
Our main source of stock of exotic non-venomous snakes, which are not commonly available in South Africa, are imported from the Unites States of America and the United Kingdom, amongst others. We take extreme care to ensure that we source from reputable suppliers of captive bred stock and that they are not involved in the illegal importation of reptiles from other countries.
The imported stock is quarantined in our own facilities, based in Cape Town, under the supervision of the State Vet.
Source your Breeding Stock
Records are kept on all imports and sales. So if you are looking for a breeding pair that are genetically diverse, please feel free to contact us. We do not have a suitable mate, we will source one for you.
Buy in
We also purchase reptiles in the local market for resale and attempt to find homes for problem specimens that have become too large to handle.
Venomous Specimens
The importation of venous snakes will be undertaken on special request and provided that the customer can demonstrate adequate training and experience in dealing with venomous snakes.
