Trading terms and conditions
General
We offer wholesale prices to retailers and dealers in the industry, for all imported livestock.
All prices are subject to confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
Requirements may be reserved in advance of them becoming available. Advance reservations are confirmed on payment of a 10%, non-refundable, deposit.
Terms
Our terms are strictly COD and all delivery charges are for the clients account unless arranged otherwise.
Payment must be made in advance, prior to shipping, and personal cheques must cleared prior to shipment.
Permits
All reptiles are sold to residents to the Cape Province with a Transport Permit, at no additional charge. Other Provinces are subject to the current permit regulations applicable.
Delivery
We ship animals throughout South Africa via air freight or courier and guarantee live arrivals. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we will, at our discretion, either replace the animal or refund your money as long as you contact us within 24 hours of receiving the animal.
Age
CBB Babies refers to captive born and bred babies. Due to lead time, the actual age could be anywhere between 2.5 months to 1 year. Age will be represented as accurately as possible.
Sexing
We try to provide hatchlings that are correctly sexed but we don't guarantee the sex, of any animal aged 1 year or less. Some species are not sexed due to potential damage that can occur when attempting to sex at too earlier an age.
Maximum Size Limit
We import snakes that will reach a maximum length of four meters to prevent the problem of snakes that are too large for the average pet owner to manage.
Special requests
We accept requests to import special reptiles . All terms and conditions to be agreed before order is placed.
This includes venomous and snakes that grow to over 4 meters, but which will only be imported, provided we are satisfied that the client has the required skills and facilities.
Breeding stock
On request, we will do our best to acquire breeding pairs. If an animal is purchased and we don't have another of a separate bloodline to pair the two, we will try to order one with our next import.
